SurvivalChoices.com is a company dedicated to customer service, products at fair prices, honesty and above all trying to help you and your families survive when it counts.
Our background is simple; we have had rude awakenings about our own lack of preparedness in the face of natural disasters.
Dave and Debbie are the owners of SurvivalChoices.com. They live in Florida and both them and their family were hit by hurricane Charley. They found the full force of Charley beating on their front door and survived by gathering the family into a bathroom shower covered with a mattress. It is interesting that they found that after the brunt of the storm the lack of water, food, power and first aid was a bigger tragedy than the storm itself.
If you have watched the news about the recent floods in New England, hurricanes Rita and Katrina in the south and the tsunami in Asia, there should be no debate about the importance of food, water, first aid and power. If you pile on top of these disasters the constant terrorist threats we all live under, it is time to take a look at what it takes to survive.
We feel that it is not possible to depend on the government for the immediate assistance that is needed and that we need to take responsibility for ourselves in the face of disaster. The bureaucracy is so dysfunctional at all levels that even if it could respond it probably will be wise for us to be able to take care of ourselves for at least 3 days and most likely a week.
We will be changing the web site with updated articles and with tips on survival. We welcome your input on any and all related topics.
